Fantasy Five is a fantasy football game for your club, whether it's non-league, Sunday League or even a school team. Like other fantasy football games, you pick a team and get points based on how your players perform in each match and then compete against your friends in a Fantasy League. But with Fantasy Five, you pick a team of five players from your own club.
Starting a League
If you would like to start a Fantasy Five League for your club, please register your details on the Start a League page. You will then become Club Admin, which means that before the start of your season you will need to submit a squad list with an approximate idea of how much each player will play and score. Fantasy Five will then calculate prices for each player for you and provide you with a page for your players and supporters to enter their team. After each match you just need to enter the player stats and match result into one online form and your League, Player Stats and Results pages will all be updated within 24 hours.
What You Get
Once your club's league is set up, you will have your own personalised area on this website with 4 pages:
- Your home page will be your Fantasy Five League with the current standings, team selections and points.
- You will also get a page with individual Player Stats with points and number of appearances, goals etc.
- A list of your Fixtures & Results with date, opponent, score and details of scorers, assists etc.
- You can also add More Info about your club, for example you can include a map to your club's home ground or link directly to your club's website.
League Options & Prices
The cost to set up a Fantasy Five league is based on the League Type you select. The Standard League is free or you can upgrade for a one-off cost for the season.
Standard Scoring includes 6 Actions (Appearance, Goal, Assist, Yellow Card, Red Card, Clean Sheet) for which players are awarded set points based on their position (Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Striker) which is set at the beginning of the season. The only exception is that outfield players get Goalkeeper points while they are playing in goal.
Upgrade to Advanced or Premium to fully customise 12 Actions and include additional Fantasy Five points. You can change the Action and value of any points up until your league goes live, at which point they will be set for the season. For example you could remove 'Own Goal' and replace it with 'Running the line' and change the value from -2 to 1. 'Fantasy Five Points' can be for absolutely anything. For example you can let your manager have 5 points per game to give out or take away as they please. They might choose to give 3 points for a great celebration and deduct 2 points for missing an open goal.
|CH||45 min clean sheet||4||3||1||.|
|CS||90 min clean sheet||9||7||3||1|
|MM||Man of the Match||3||3||3||3|
|FF||Fantasy Five Points||x||x||x||x|
The Advanced and Premium options also give you access to a Transfer Window over the Christmas break between matches. Members can either enter a new team or leave it as it is. Player prices are recalculated based on their stats in the first half of the season.
If your club has multiple sides, for example A & B Teams, Firsts & Reserves, Vets, Youth Teams etc. you can create a single combined league for all your club sides using the Premium League option. Depending on the number of sides you have, your members will be able to select a team of 10 or 11 players from the squads of all your sides. There are specific rules on how many players you can choose from each side.
Joining a League
If your club already has a Fantasy Five League set up, you can join their league from the Find Your Club page.
In the standard Fantasy Five League you select 2 Defenders, 2 Midfielders and 1 Striker (where Goalkeepers are included among the Defenders). Each player is assigned a price so you need to select a team with a total price within the budget of 100. Then each week your team will gain points based on how many goals, assists etc. your players get in each match. Point scoring can also be customised for each Fantasy Five league and there are more options for clubs with multiple sides (e.g. if you have also have a B Team or Reserves) so check your club’s page for more information.
